Marina Abramovic.

It's interesting that Marina's best-known work is based on the reaction and behavior of the public. I think it's unbelievable how she can focus her mind to stay present and neutral through difficult and emotional performances like Rhythm 0 (1974) and The Artist Is Present (March - May 2010). Her performances raise more questions than answers about humans and the society we are living in.

Marina's art has really taught me that we are our worst enemy. Maybe because we are afraid of ourselves, emotions and longings. Do we truly know ourselves? If so, why are we limited? If we limit our options, other people will too. The main question is, why are we so afraid to be limitless?
